Rocky Mountain National Park was established in 1915 making it the 9th oldest National Park. This park is just around 415 square miles, most of which is inaccessible during the winter due to heavy snowfall. This national park offers views of towering mountain peaks, alpine lakes, aspen trees, and all kinds of wildlife. The park is only an hour away from Denver and has a little village 10 minutes before the visitors center, making it fairly easy to access.
